I imagine the woman in this song working long, late hours on the road (not a total stretch for a touring musician). She’s alone in the cab of a big truck, no one else on the road, tuning the radio slowly, scanning for any signal, any sign of life like hers.

The beat was made by Michael Piroli. I recorded the lead vocals myself in a closet in New York, and the background vocals in DC (also in a closet).
